We are celebrating! Our effort, dedication, and passion for what we do have once again brought us joy. SGC-Enac has certified for another year that Analco has an Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 Standard for the commercialisation of footwear components. This certificate, valid until 22 March 2027, endorses our company’s focus on a job well done.

At Analco Auxiliar Calzado, SAU we have been developing a working system aimed at preserving nature, reducing our carbon footprint and being as sustainable as possible. To this end, we have an Environmental Policy whose objectives ensure that our activities are carried out with the utmost respect for the environment. This commitment is also reflected in our manufacturing process, where, as a company, we strive to generate the least amount of waste possible through efficient use of raw materials, advocating for the circular economy model, whose fundamental principle is the use of the three “R’s”: reduce, reuse, and recycle.

The end result is still high quality soles and insoles, but with the awareness of complying with an international environmental management standard. Besides being one of our top priorities at Analco right now, we agree that having such a certification helps improve our company’s image and consolidate our market leadership position.

The Quality and Environment department comments that “the award of the UNE EN ISO 14001:2015 standard reinforces and reaffirms Analco’s commitment to the environment (…) We are very proud to obtain this recognition, as it fully encourages us to continue with our action plan guided by this ecological and sustainable sensitivity. Furthermore, they emphasise that “obtaining this certification is the result of many hours of work by the entire team of this organisation, in which each and every one of the workers is committed to and in agreement with this green culture, which seeks to minimise the impact of our actions on planet earth. And thanks to each of them for the hours of training and learning that have helped us achieve our goal”.

As a result, several actions and practices are already being implemented at Analco to engage in this more ethical and responsible framework. For example, in order to reduce the use of plastics, 100% of the packaging of samples and orders is already made from recycled boxes and paper. Along the same lines, we have also managed to reuse up to 5% of the non-hazardous waste generated in the manufacturing process.

These merits help us to continue to contribute to preserving biodiversity and caring for the environment, thereby setting ourselves new goals. Among them, reducing our carbon footprint and electricity consumption in our offices are two of the most important objectives.

Looking back, and despite all the road ahead of us, we can only be satisfied with the recognition granted by ISO 14001:2015, ensuring that we are a company committed to protecting the environment through the management of environmental risks associated with the activity carried out.
